We went to my parents for Christmas. The weather was great for the trip, and the roads were clear! We got in late on the 23rd. It was nice to just relax and not have much to do. Lizzy was sad her cousins were not there when we arrived, but she enjoyed her time with grandma, grandpa, Eva, and "Uncle Scott" or "Chris". I thought it was interesting that she would call him one or the other, but never heard her call him "uncle Chris".

On Christmas Eve we got to spend time with David, Tiffany, Ethan, and some of Tiffany's family. Lizzy loved playing with her cousin Ethan, and they got to meet Santa! Lizzy loved her fish game she got from Santa.

It was nice to see friends we had not seen in a while, one in particular, who just past away last week :( An other family friend also past away while we were there, and we were able to go to her services, what an amazing wonderful woman who lost her cancer battle, after 5 years of remission.
We had a smaller Christmas Day with Eva, Dave, Chris, my family, and my parents. Becca's family and Sara's family arrived before new years, so on new years day we got to open presents with them as well.

Before our trip to California I had borrowed by sister-in-laws Twilight and New Moon book. I finished new Moon, so I borrowed my brothers Eclipse and Break Dawn book, and got about half way through Eclipse while I was there. One day I wrote the stationary bike for almost 1.5 hours! 30 miles, while I read! I just finished Breaking Dawn today! So now I have time to blog!
It was nice to visit with friends and family. A much needed break! It was nice to have so many people around to watch over Lizzy too, that I didn't need to be watching her every second of the day! I do love my little girl though, don't know what I'd be doing if she wasn't in our life. She loved interacting with everyone.
