Happy 5th Birthday Lizzy

I had been watching the weather, it looked like Saturday was going to be a great day for her party at the park. Well as the days got closer it was looking colder and colder. It even sprinkled a little that morning! It turned out just fine though. It was a little windy, and the grass was a little wet when we sat on it. But the sun came out and I actually got a little sunburn!

When we got to the park I noticed someone setting up a ""party" and saw I sign that said "Welcome to XXX's 5th Birthday Party". Someone had "rented" the whole pavilion! I didn't even know that was possible! She showed me her permit, and explained the situation to me, and that she planned on about 50 people coming!  I panicked for a minute, but then John saved the day! He went to his office & picked up tables and chairs. The kids arrived mostly within the first 30 minutes. They played at the play ground for about 45 minutes! John went to pick up Mike and the Pizza. Mike was finishing up laundry at our house. We gathered the girls to eat. We had pizza & strawberry lemonade.
The cupcake cake - taken when we first got there.  It didn't look so great later, JT and the sun got to it!
Good thing the kids didn't seem to notice at all!

First party we have thrown... the girls just gathered around so close while opening the gifts!

JT loved the balloons!

Loved this game! John came up with the idea. Pin the bow on  Lizzy!

Lizzy and her cousin Kylie.

After the party they got to play, then we went to DI, got some books for the girls. Took Mike back to Provo and played at Kylie's for a while before heading home.

April 2012

The end of March, beginning of April we went to CA again. It was fun to see family. We went out with Todd & Jamie's family, and then when to their house.

Back home JT started eating more solid foods. Peas are something we have at least once a week.

John's Parents came up Easter weekend. This was the first year we died eggs. It was lots of fun!

Lizzy's basket. JT just got a movie (Dinosaurs) and an egg, which I ate!
Finished products!

Easter egg hunt at Grandma's, with great uncle Tim

JT's first plane ride, and the first Lizzy will remember! Our flight got delayed! Glad they had this play area!
Did pretty good with just me and the kids.
Waiting to get on the plane!

Just the three of us!
We went out to CA to help my parents pack-up the house!  We packed a truck to head to Idaho, they will remain in Stockton, in an apartment, for one more school year. My friend Becky watched the kids so I could help pack. It turned out great! It was the test to see how long JT could really go without nursing! I think he went about 7 or 8 hours one day! He can eat a lot of food now, but when I'm around he wants me to nurse him! We had a little birthday celebration for Lizzy while we were there as well. It was a fun time. John had business training at the end of our visit, and we all flew home together!

Can't believe Lizzy is 5 now!!

March 2012

JT started crawling and climbing all over we had to put something in front of the TV... his portable crib worked! He likes it when we leave the bottom open so he can crawl in and out. Lizzy enjoys it as well!

In March we traveled to Troys blessing. It was fun to have most of the family there! the cousins had so much fun together!! We had the three boys born last year all together... to bad I didn't get a picture with all three together :( oh well, another time.
JT and Liam (7 weeks apart)
The kids slept on the tramp - they loved it!
